2023 Kia Niro | Daytona Beach, FL

When the Telluride made its debut, it was praised for all of the incredible features that came standard within its cabin. That trend continues for the 2023 Kia Telluride, presenting more value than ever before thanks to some advancements — inside and out.

The Kia Niro is available at five trim levels: LX, EX, EX Touring, SX, SX Touring.

What’s New For 2023?

The Kia Niro family of vehicles, which also includes the Niro PHEV and Niro EV, received a complete redesign for 2023. Now in its second generation, the 2023 Niro Hybrid arrives with new exterior and interior styling, a larger cabin with more passenger and cargo room, and best-in-class fuel economy.

Eco-Friendly Crossover

Every new Kia Niro HEV is powered by a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine that’s paired with a Full Parallel Hybrid System. These two components work with a six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission to deliver a peppy 139 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque. But what’s most impressive is the Niro’s best-in-class 53 mpg combined.[2] That equates to an estimated 588-mile range, letting you go even further without needing to stop at the gas pump. On top of that, the Niro Hybrid utilizes regenerative braking technology to maximize your efficiency by turning unused energy when braking into accelerating power.

Advanced Technology

The Niro Hybrid makes it easy to stay connected on the go. Every new model comes with Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ capability, meaning you can use your favorite compatible smartphone apps directly on the touch-screen display. Additional ways to connect your devices is with Bluetooth® wireless tech or via the front USB-A and USB-C charging/data ports. Rear passengers can also power up with the two standard second-row USB-A charging ports.

When you choose the 2023 Niro EX and above, you’ll get a larger 10.25-inch touch-screen display (up from 8 inches on Niro LX). This setup also comes with an intuitive navigation system and Kia Connect, which lets you remotely access the Niro and do things like lock/unlock the doors, start the engine, and more. Niro EX models also add SiriusXM® satellite radio, voice recognition for vehicle commands, and a wireless phone charger in the front center console.

If music is one of your top priorities in the new Kia Niro Hybrid, consider opting for the SX or SX Touring trims. These models come with an immersive seven-speaker Harman Kardon® premium audio system that surrounds you with rich sounds, whether you’re listening to your nostalgic playlists or tuning into your favorite podcasts.

Comfortable Interior

For 2023, the Kia Niro Hybrid grew in size but still maintains its compact frame. As a result, the crossover now offers class-leading passenger volume and more cargo space. In total, the 2023 Niro now offers 63.6 cubic feet of cargo room behind the front seats. To help you see how that stacks up against the competition, the 2023 Subaru Crosstrek Hybrid only offers 43.1 cubic feet while the 2023 Honda HR-V offers just 55.1 cubic feet of total cargo room.

It’s not just about the room you’ll have to spread out in the new Kia Niro. You’ll be surrounded by upscale materials and convenient amenities, no matter which trim level you choose. Every model comes with dual-zone automatic climate control so you and your front passenger can enjoy your ideal temperatures.

If you do want to splurge a bit for a bit more convenience, the Niro EX — just one model up from the base trim — adds a ton of premium features. This trim has remote start, SynTex and cloth seat trim, a 10-way power driver’s seat with two-way lumbar support, heated front seats, and ambient lighting.

Intelligent Safety

The 2023 Niro HEV is equipped with a long list of standard driver-assist safety features so you can rest easy on all of your journeys. You’ll have the added assurance of systems like Forward Collision Avoidance (with Pedestrian Detection capability), Driver Attention Warning, Lane Keeping Assist, Lane Following Assist, Blind Spot Collision Warning (with Parallel Exit), and Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Avoidance-Assist all working to keep you safe.

But beyond the things that help you when you drive, the new Niro also comes with standard Safe Exit Warning to alert you if there are oncoming vehicles approaching when you get out of the SUV. Not only that, but standard Rear Occupant Alert will send audible and visual cues to remind you to check the back seat before you continue on your day.

Stylish Design

Kia continues the “Opposites United” design philosophy with the 2023 Niro family of vehicles. The efficient SUV arrives this year with a distinctive Aero Blade on its side that aids with airflow and creates a sense of movement. The Aero Blade becomes instantly recognizable when you opt for one of the two-tone paint options for the Niro HEV, giving the vehicle either a CityScape Green or Mineral Blue body with a black Aero Blade. Other standout color options include Runway Red and Fire Orange Metallic, among a handful of desirable hues.

Every 2023 Niro Hybrid comes with heated, power-adjustable side-view mirrors for those days when you travel to colder climates outside of Daytona Beach. You can also add helpful roof rails for added storage space on the Niro EX if you plan on taking your new Niro out for some long road trips. Additional available exterior features that might interest you include a Smart Power tailgate, auto rain-sensing windshield wipers, and a power sunroof.

In addition to all of these incredible features, the 2023 Kia Niro Hybrid is backed by Kia’s industry-leading 10-year/100,000-mile warranty that covers virtually every component of the vehicle so you can drive with confidence and peace of mind.[3] To get behind the wheel of the new Kia Niro HEV, contact our team or come visit us at Daytona Beach Kia in Daytona Beach, Florida!
