2023 Kia Rio | Daytona Beach, FL

If you’re looking for an affordable and stylish sedan that’s packed with tons of advanced tech, consider the Kia Rio. This small car is great for driving around Daytona Beach and beyond; you’ll go further for less and have enough room for all of your friends and their stuff!
The 2023 Kia Rio starts at just $16,550 and is available at two trims: LX and S.[1] You can also choose the Rio 5-Door (Hatchback) body style for additional cargo room.

Exterior Style

You’ll notice the signature Kia style on the 2023 Rio, with its tiger nose grille that’s flanked by halogen headlights. LED positioning headlights with High Beam Assist are available on the Rio S sedan while you can add them through the optional S Technology Package on the Rio hatchback. Additional convenience can be found via the standard power heated side mirrors and heated rear glass for those times when you venture to colder regions.
Between the two Rio body styles, you’ll get to choose from up to six appealing colors for the exterior. The base LX trim of the sedan offers Clear White, Silky Silver, and Aurora Black. The S trims of both models add Steel Gray, Currant Red, and Sporty Blue to the palette. The wheel options vary between standard 15-inch wheels with full covers and available 15-inch alloy wheels that are lighter than the steel wheels.

Interior Comfort

Inside, you’ll have plenty of things to enjoy in the new Kia Rio. The cabin is filled with plush seating, convenient amenities, and enough space to adapt to your needs. All seats are covered in a soft tricot and woven trim available in Black and Gray. In the front, you’ll be able to adjust the driver’s seat six ways while the 60/40 split-folding rear seat opens up the cargo area.
The main difference between the Rio 4-Door and Rio 5-Door is interior space. The 2023 Rio sedan has 13.7 cubic feet of space in its trunk with access to it from the back-seat area when the 60/40 seats are down. Offering a bit more, the 2023 Rio 5-Door has 17.4 cubic feet of space behind the back seat, but increases to 32.8 cubic feet with those rear seats folded down.
Of course, you’ll also find a handful of convenient features between both new Kia Rio models. All models come with things like an illuminated glove box, dual visor vanity mirrors, an overhead sunglasses holder, map lights, and dual front cup holders. The top S trim of the Rio sedan adds a sliding armrest with a storage bin, remote keyless entry with trunk release, and available amenities like automatic climate control and push-button start.

Advanced Technology

Whether you’re going to school, work, or just downtown for some weekend fun, you’ll be able to stay connected inside the 2023 Kia Rio. This attractive vehicle comes with advanced technology like wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ so you can use your favorite compatible apps directly on the 8-inch touch-screen display. You’ll also be able to connect your devices with Bluetooth® or through the USB input in the center console. Meanwhile, rear passengers will appreciate the USB charging port in the back on the S trims of the Rio sedan and Rio hatchback.
For a bit more connectivity, you have the option of upgrading to an 8-inch touch-screen display with Kia Connect and SiriusXM® satellite radio. Kia Connect is the brand’s infotainment system that lets you remotely access your vehicle and do things like lock or unlock the doors, adjust the climate settings, and find the car after you’ve parked. To keep you entertained on your commute, SiriusXM® offers more than 130 commercial-free music and entertainment channels.

Smart Safety Systems

Life can get pretty hectic at times, but the 2023 Kia Rio is equipped with tons of advanced safety systems to make driving easier. The Rio LX sedan model protects you with a smart Anti-lock Braking System, Electronic Stability Control, Vehicle Stability Management, Hill Start Assist Control, and a Tire Pressure Monitoring System.
If you want even more security, the Rio 5-Door comes with driver-assist features from Kia’s Drive Wise suite. This includes intuitive systems like Lane Keeping Assist, Lane Departure Warning, and Lane Following Assist. In addition to keeping you in your lane, Driver Attention Warning will monitor your habits and alert you if it senses any signs of fatigue.
When you’ve got passengers or items in the back, the Rear Occupant Alert system will give you an audible and visual reminder to check the rear-seat area before exiting the vehicle. Rounding out the helpful safety features on the Rio 5-Door is Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist with Pedestrian Detection. This system is ideal for city driving and will keep an eye on the road ahead for other vehicles and people, and will apply the brakes if necessary.
All of these incredible Kia Drive Wise driver-assist systems are available as optional add-ons on the Rio sedan S trim.
