Kia Niro EV
The future of driving is electric, but that future is already here today thanks to the 2021 Kia Niro EV. Kia stakes its claim as a name to watch in the electric vehicle race with its new Niro EV, delivering 239 miles of EPA-estimated range or up to 317 miles using the AMCI Real-World City Testing Range.**
On top of its impressive range capabilities, the Niro EV lets you go electric with confidence thanks to its fast-charging capabilities. With its standard 400-volt DC Fast-Charging System, the 2021 Kia Niro EV can recover 100 miles of range in about 30 minutes and 80 percent battery capacity in one hour.*** And as if that’s not enough, the zero-emissions Niro EV goes zero-compromises when it comes to performance, delivering 201 horsepower and 291 lb-ft of near-instant torque.
What if you have needs and dreams that go just a bit bigger? That’s when you’ll want to turn to the 2021 Kia Sorento, a purpose-built adventure vehicle made for your whole crew. The Sorento offers standard seating for up to seven with a 50/50 split-folding third row, which also means you’ll have ample cargo space to work with when you need it.
The Sorento is not about cutting corners. Every element is worked to refinement, from its impressive exterior to high-end interiors replete with available 3D-embossed leather. And better still, there’s a 2021 Kia Sorento for every lifestyle. For example, if you want ruggedness but crave great fuel efficiency, the Kia Sorento S Hybrid offers best-in-class 37 combined mpg and plenty of power.*
If you’re the type of person who goes all out in everything you do, trust your needs to nothing less than the awesome 2022 Kia Telluride. With standard SynTex seating for eight people, a bevy of Kia Drive Wise technologies, and an intimidating presence, there’s nothing tepid about the Telluride.
Don’t let the affordable price fool you — the 2022 Kia Telluride feels as premium as they come. That’s thanks to features like a 10.25-inch touch screen with standard voice-command navigation, optional reclining dual captain’s chairs, and available Dual Sunroofs. As if that’s not enough, the 2022 Kia Telluride is a powerhouse, delivering 291 horsepower and up to 5,000 pounds of towing capacity with its hearty 3.8-liter V6. *MPG based on EPA estimates. Actual mileage will vary with options, driving conditions, driving habits and your vehicle's condition. See www.fueleconomy.gov.
**EPA-estimated range provides consumers with results from a standardized testing procedure that may be useful for comparing vehicles. In the real world, range will vary considerably and is influenced by many factors including, but not limited to:
Drive mode selected;
Elevation and elevation changes;
Comfort features. including the use of heat, AC, and other vehicle accessories; and
Age, vehicle and battery condition, and tire selection.
Kia engaged with AMCI Testing (an independent automotive research firm) to gauge the fully-charged range of a 2020 Niro EV EX. AMCI Testing’s range testing consisted of two different scenarios:
Real-World City/Highway Cycle. For this test, the vehicle was driven on a 48.8-mile city/highway cycle route in Southern California. The drive mode was set to ECO; coast energy was set to Level 3; and the HVAC mode was set to ECO at 74 degrees. Additional testing details and protocols are available through AMCI Testing.
Result: 293-mile all-electric range (54 miles more than the advertised 239 EPA-estimated range).
Real-World City Cycle. For this test, the vehicle was driven on a 71.2-mile city cycle route in Southern California. The drive mode was set to ECO+; coast energy was set to Level 3; and the HVAC mode was set to A/C Off and Fan Manual. Additional testing details and protocols are available through AMCI Testing.
Result: 317-mile all-electric range (78 miles more than the advertised 239 EPA-estimated range).
Actual Niro EV range will vary depending on the conditions described above, including aging of the vehicle battery. Niro EV battery is warranted for 10-years or 100K miles and is guaranteed to retain 70% of the battery’s original capacity.
***Charge time and range based on 50 kW charger performed at 200 amps, 77 degrees Fahrenheit battery temperature, and under 10% battery State of Charge. Actual charging time and range will vary with options, driving conditions, driving habits, vehicle maintenance, charging practice, battery age, weather, temperature and your vehicle’s condition. Battery capacity will decrease with time and use. Frequent use of DC fast charging can negatively impact battery performance and durability, and Kia recommends minimizing use of DC fast charging.
