2023 Kia Sorento | Daytona Beach, FL

If you want an adventurous and attractive SUV, you should consider taking a ride in the 2023 Kia Sorento! This stylish vehicle blends sportiness with a ton of advanced tech that keeps you both safe and entertained on every drive.

The Kia Sorento is available at eight trim levels: LX, S, X-Line S AWD, EX, X-Line EX AWD, SX, SX Prestige AWD, and X-Line SX Prestige AWD.

Exterior

On the outside, the new Kia Sorento exudes confidence thanks to its athletic design. The sculpted front end is highlighted by a bold tiger nose black grille that’s flanked by multi-reflector LED headlights. When you choose the SX model and above, those will be replaced by LED projector headlights. LED fog lights, however, are standard on the EX trim and higher.

Whether you’re driving to work or heading out on an adventure, you’ll have plenty of exterior features on the Sorento to aid in your journeys. Along with performance enhancements, the daring X-Line trims add high-utility roof rails to the top of the SUV. When it comes to convenience, a Smart Power Tailgate is standard on the Sorento EX and higher. This innovative feature detects your Smart Key and will automatically open so you can easily load and unload items in the cargo area.

As far as style is concerned, the 2023 Sorento is offered in a wide palette of attractive colors. The base S trim has five distinct hues to choose from, including the fiery Passion Red. But as you move up to higher trims, you’ll find even more unique options like Sapphire Blue and Aruba Green. Wheels range in size from 17-20 inches with different designs while the SUV can be had with accents in Gloss Black, Matte Black, Dark Hyper Silver, or Satin Chrome (depending on your model).

Performance

To complement its sporty looks, the new Kia Sorento offers two different powertrains to get you where you need to go. The standard 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine delivers 191 horsepower, 181 lb-ft of torque, and a max towing capacity of 2,000 pounds. That engine works with an eight-speed automatic transmission to offer up to 29 mpg on the highway for FWD models and 25 mpg on the highway for AWD models.[1]

When you go with the Sorento EX, you’ll feel the power of a turbocharged version of that 2.5-liter standard engine. With that extra boost, the Sorento can get 281 horsepower, a massive 311 lb-ft of torque, and 3,500 pounds of towing capacity. The wet-type eight-speed Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT) makes for ultra-smooth shifting and still offers up to 29 mpg on the highway for FWD models while improving AWD models to 28 mpg on the highway.[1]

Interior

One of the most appealing things about the Kia Sorento is its ability to hold up to seven people without being too cumbersome to drive. When you fold all of the rear seats down, you can utilize the 75.5 cubic feet of cargo space for storing DIY projects, groceries, sports gear, and more.

If you want to focus on comfort without breaking the bank, consider the Sorento S. This affordable trim goes big with standard amenities like a 10-way power driver’s seat with power lumbar support, heated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and remote start.

As you move up to higher trims, you’ll find additional upscale features in the Sorento’s cabin. That driver’s seat can be upgraded to a 14-way adjustment with lumbar and power thigh extension. Not only that, but certain trims of the 2023 Sorento also offer heated second-row seats, ventilated front seats, second-row captain’s chairs, a heated steering wheel, open-pore wood graphics, and genuine leather seat trim that is embossed and perforated.

Technology

You’ll stay connected and entertained on all of your trips in the new Kia Sorento. The standard 8-inch touch-screen display works seamlessly with features like Apple CarPlay®, Android Auto™, and Bluetooth®. You can power up devices on the base LX trim via the two USB charging ports in the front console or with the three total USB charge ports between the second and third rows.

A larger 10.25-inch touch-screen display is standard when you move up one trim to the Sorento S, which also comes with SiriusXM® satellite radio, voice recognition, wireless charging, and more USB charge ports in the second row. If you crave the most premium music experience, consider a Sorento with the 12-speaker Bose® audio system.

Safety

Not only does the technology in the 2023 Sorento keep you connected on the go, but it also works to keep you safe. The Sorento is equipped with a long list of standard Kia Drive Wise driver-assist safety features, including:

  • Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist with Pedestrian and Vehicle Detection
