2023 Kia Telluride | Daytona Beach, FL

When the Telluride made its debut, it was praised for all of the incredible features that came standard within its cabin. That trend continues for the 2023 Kia Telluride, presenting more value than ever before thanks to some advancements — inside and out.

The Kia Telluride is available at 10 trim levels: LX, S, EX, EX X-Line, SX, SX X-Line, SX X-Pro, SX Prestige, SX Prestige X-Line, and SX Prestige X-Pro.

Exterior

While already aesthetically pleasing, the 2023 Telluride arrives with a few design enhancements to elevate its appeal even further. Three new rich colors are now available for the exterior: Jungle Green, Dawning Red, and Midnight Lake Blue. In addition to this updated palette, every trim of the Telluride has also received new wheel designs ranging in size from 18-20 inches. Other subtle changes to the exterior include revised headlamps, a new grille, and updated rear trim.

Outside of these exciting updates, the new Kia Telluride also offers a handful of useful and convenient exterior features. If you’re planning on traveling to chillier climates, the standard heated and power-adjustable side mirrors with LED turn signals will come in handy. As you move up to trims like SX X-Line and SX X-Pro, features like high-utility roof rails, dual sunroofs, a Smart Power tailgate with auto close, and LED fog lights with black finish bezels are all standard.

Interior

The interior is truly where the Telluride shines, as you’ll find a long list of standard features to make every drive enjoyable. For example, every new Telluride is equipped with Driver Talk — which amplifies the driver’s voice via speakers throughout the cabin — as well as Quiet Mode, which keeps audio and infotainment sounds up front so back-seat passengers can rest. All 2023 Telluride models also come with a push-button start and remote start so you can get where you need to go quickly.

Additional standard amenities include dual-zone climate control for the front seat, rear passenger climate control, easy-to-clean SynTex seat trim, front seatback hooks for bags and other items, seatback pockets with a device pouch, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. As you move up to other trims, even more upscale features become standard, like a heated steering wheel, a wireless phone charger, heated and ventilated front seats, leather seat trim, and integrated second-row window sunshades.

Utility also comes standard in the Telluride. Depending on the trim, you can choose between a seven-passenger cabin with captain’s chairs or an eight-passenger cabin with two rear bench seats. No matter which one you choose, the second-row is easy to adjust thanks to one-touch sliding and folding capability. The third row 60/40 split-folding seats also allow room for various cargo items. In total, you’ll have up to 87 cubic feet of total cargo volume with the rear seats folded down.

Technology

In addition to the comfort and convenience features in the cabin, the 2023 Telluride also offers a ton of advanced technology to keep you entertained and in-the-know. Right from the start, all models come with a large 12.3-inch touch-screen display that’s equipped with navigation, SiriusXM® satellite radio, and Kia Connect. The Kia Connect system lets you remotely access the vehicle and do things like lock or unlock the doors, start the engine, and use the Find My Car feature. We know you’ll also enjoy the convenience of a standard Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth® with multi-device connectivity, Apple CarPlay®, and Android Auto™.

Once you get to the Telluride SX trim and above, the instrument display behind the steering wheel gets an upgrade from 4.2 inches to the expansive 12.3-inch display — which means the dash is home to nearly 25 inches of screen space. This larger display features an LCD screen to showcase vital vehicle features on your journeys. Another amenity that is standard on SX models and above is the Harman Kardon® premium audio system with 10 speakers that fill the cabin with rich sounds.

Safety

The technology on the new Kia Telluride isn’t reserved solely for fun, though. It’s also there to keep you safe. In addition to its sturdy build, Kia equipped the 2023 Telluride with intelligent driver-assist systems that add a bit more confidence behind the wheel. For starters, features like Forward Collision Warning, Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (with Pedestrian, Cyclist, and Junction Turning), Blind-Spot Collision Warning, and Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Avoidance Assist use sensors and cameras to create an extra set of eyes on the road.

When it’s time for a road trip, the convenience of standard Navigation-based Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go – Curve and Highway Driving Assist 1.5 will make driving even simpler. Other helpful systems include Intelligent Speed Limit Assist, Driver Attention Warning, Safe Exit Assist, and Rear Occupant Alert. But you can go even further with tech on higher trims, like a Surround View Monitor that gives you a virtual bird’s-eye view of the vehicle.

Performance

If you’re in need of a premium SUV that can also handle tasks like heading off-road or hauling a trailer, the Kia Telluride is a great option. Thanks to its powerful 3.8-liter V6 engine, this SUV can tow up to 5,000 pounds. The Telluride X-Pro models go even further with capability and offer a 5,500-pound towing capacity. All models, however, come with a Drive Mode Select system that lets you experience four options: Comfort, Eco, Sport, and Smart.
